Along with the collection of pension premiums, Gildi collects trade union fees for two unions.
Employers who are connected to the collective wage agreements of the unions below in the general labour market must pay union fees from their employees’ salaries and premiums to the health, holiday and education funds of the relevant union, along with payment to the pension fund.

Further information on employers’ additional contribution due to collective wage agreements to which Efling is a member can be found on the union’s website.
Please note that Gildi was in charge of collecting trade union premiums for Verkalýðsfélagíð Hlíf for a while. The union has now taken over the collection itself, and employers are asked to contact Hlíf directly regarding all premiums. Note that it also applies to older premiums and debts!
