Authorisation for withdrawal of private pension savings extended

Further information:

• The maximum withdrawal per individual is ISK 12 million.
• The maximum monthly payment is ISK 800,000.
• Income tax is deducted from payments from the private pension fund.
• The balance as at 1 April 2021 applies, and the application deadline is 1 January 2022.
• Applications received before the 19th of the month are paid out at the next month-end.
• Please note that this authorisation does not apply to designated private pension savings.
